Betsy's Priorities
Betsy Henderson is a conservative Republican.
She believes Knox County is at a crossroads with respect to freedom, taxes, and growth. She has developed a plan to ensure that we keep taxes low, provide the services people need and then get the government out of the way.
The insiders want to raise your taxes because they have taken on too much debt and haven’t saved to pay it off. Betsy will end the game politicians play: run up debt, increase spending, and when the debt comes due, make families pay for it with a tax increase. Knox County’s budget is over a billion dollars and that is more than enough of your money to have great roads, schools, and services. She will keep taxes low, ensure smart growth, great roads, and world-class schools, and be a champion for the hardworking people of Knox County.
